About

Graduated with Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Chinese Medicine from International Medical University (IMU), and further completed clinical training at IMU Chinese Medicine Centre and Shuguang Hospital at Shanghai, China with various clinical rotations.

Growing up, Chinese Medicine was uncommon in my household. Traditional practices were overshadowed by more mainstream approaches. I was only exposed to Chinese Medicine at the age of 20 when I tagged along a friend to a TCM Centre who went for an acupuncture session. As I stepped into the TCM centre, the air was infused with the subtle aroma of medicinal herbs, creating an ambiance that felt distinctly different from conventional healthcare settings. The experience began as I observed my friend undergoing acupuncture - an ancient technique where needles as fine as a strand of hair, is inserted into specific points on the body. The decision to explore Chinese Medicine came unexpectedly yet felt undeniably right. I then decided to read up more about Chinese Medicine and it instantly sparked an interest in me, revealing a world of holistic healing, where the body, mind, and spirit is interconnected in a dance of balance. It started with a simple curiosity, that soon turned into a passionate pursuit, offering a new lens through which to view health and wellness. Here I am, venturing into the world of Chinese Medicine that now unfolds as a commitment – to harness the wisdom of Chinese Medicine and its holistic approach, hoping to help people to my best ability.
