Hi, I am Suki, I am a TCM practitioner. I have close to 6 years of experience in clinical practice specializing in Acupuncture, Internal Medicine, Moxibustion and Cupping. And I am now having a start-up together with my other partners.

I have much interest and experience in helping people with neuro-related issues such as pain, stroke, bell’s palsy and epilepsy, autism and hyperactivity with a positive result.

But over the past three years, I have also developed an interest in mental health space issues. How you deal with stress leads to anxiety or depression, which is happening in many among us, even among my peers and I have experienced it, and how acupuncture could help with it instead of turning into drugs which I find fascinating.

The funny thing is I always thought I’d be a neurosurgeon or a conventional western doctor when I was growing up, but life is not always a straight line and I found myself venturing into TCM after an episode with my mom when I was 19. She was having severe symptoms from leiomyoma-uterinefibroids, but her only option was to proceed with a surgical procedure-Total Abdominal Hysterectomy with Bilateral Salpingo-Oophorectomy (TAHBSO) since earlier treatment of “watchful waiting” and hormonal drug therapy did not work well with her.

So, I decided to take a different route from my original plan after that. And here I am.

Inspired by this quote from a poem; “The road not taken” by Robert Frost, I have made up my mind to venture into the road "less travelled by”, and that has made all the difference, in what has made me who I am today.

Whatever the minds of a man can conceive and believe, it can achieve. Coherent with TCM Principle, a holistic approach is taken into consideration to check on a person’s health conditions, be it physical, mental or emotional can only be achieve by healing hands.

Thus, what inspired me the most to practice with all my partners in Moonrise is to offer our hands to treat and give a healthcare solution to our patients. To have confidence, when you refer your family and friends to us, your loved ones will be in good hands.

So, feel free to drop by to see me at Moonrise or my other colleagues. We’ll do our best to help you with your condition.
