Our main method of healing is acupuncture. However, there are other treatment methods sometimes to be used as a combo to help patients with such as moxibustion, cupping, tuina, guasha, or ear seeding.

You may not need all but it's always good to go for acupuncture treatment first before others, tackle the root cause of your conditions. Your certified practitioner is there to advise you on the best treatment for your body.

Our Process

We want to ensure that your experience is as relaxed and beneficial as possible. Below are some suggestions for the best experience.

1.

Fill in the health questionnaire before you arrive if it’s your first time visit.

2.

Avoid having caffeine/curry/soy products 2 hours before your session. Make sure you are neither too hungry nor too full.

3.

Our practitioner will inquire about your current health status and medical history or check what your previous appointments covered.

4.

We will check on tongue inspection & pulse reading during the consultation session.

5.

Following your health consultation, you will be taken to a treatment room. The duration of the treatments shall depend on the needs of the patient.

Our treatment will take 1.5 - 2 hours depending on the type of treatment needed.

6.

You may rest and relax while the treatment is in progress. Your time spent here is a long-term investment for your health. Our practitioner will check on you when the timer goes off.

7.

Help yourself with some Chinese herbal tea. The practitioner will go through relevant information and recommend a treatment plan to address your health concern.

8.

If the practitioner has given you a treatment plan, make sure you plan your next follow-up visit as per advice.

9.

Avoid intense exercises and alcohol consumption after your treatment session.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture involves the insertion of sterile needles into the skin of a fine-diameter size at specific acupoints on the body. The body consists of more than 2000 acupoints. It is through pathways or meridians on the body where the energy or Qi flows. Hence, a certified practitioner will insert needles at different locations of the acupoints with different depths to address a person's health issues.

Herbal Remedies

Chinese herbal medicines are mainly uses plant-based. Some preparations may include minerals or animal products. Different herbs have different properties and can balance the yin and yang of the body. To help restore the body's energy balance to the opposing forces of energy - Yin and Yang - that run through invisible channels in the body, herbs are prescribed to help.

Cupping

Cupping is a type of alternative therapy. It involves placing glass cups on the skin to create suction. Practitioners will place cups on the back, stomach, arms, legs, or other body parts. The suction is to help improve the flow of energy in the body and facilitate healing.

People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation, and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage

Moxibustion

Moxibustion is a form of heat therapy. A practitioner burns the herb“moxa” near or above the skin to warm and stimulate specific meridian points on the body. A Practitioner uses moxibustion either as a stand-alone therapy or in combination with acupuncture.

Tuina (Acupressure)

Tuina is a form of hand treatment. It focuses on a person's energy and encourages natural self-healing within the body by balancing the body. A Practitioner uses the hand and arm techniques to massage and realign muscles, bones, ligaments, and tendons. These techniques include kneading, pressing, rolling, shaking, and stretching.

Guasha

Guasha is a traditional Chinese medicine practice that uses a tool to scrape a person's skin to produce a red bruise-like appearance. Guasha releases unhealthy bodily matter from blood stasis within sore, tired, stiff, or injured muscle areas to stimulate newly oxygenated blood flow to the affected areas, thus promoting metabolic cell repair, regeneration, healing, and recovery.
